It has been 9 days since the self proclaimed “King of Pop” Michael Jackson was pronounced dead. After news broke that he had died from cardiac arrest, there wasn’t a single major media outlet in the universe that wasn’t covering the story. The world was watching as events developed and continues to do so. Ironically, it took Jackson’s apparent sudden demise for the world to fully understand how truly iconic he was.
Debate rages as to whether suicide, murder or natural causes were to blame.
But is Michael Jackson really dead?
Only hours after the earth shattering announcement, speculation commenced as to the validity of his passing. What would Jackson’s motive be for “staging his own death”?
Well, as difficult as it might be to believe, this musical money making machine was actually at least $400 million dollars in debt. An incredibly lavish live style combined with an addiction for shopping and an inability to prevent unscrupulous hangers on from draining his coffers over the years sucked billions of dollars from his fanancial empire.
Some will say that his planned 50 concert performances in London over the next year and a half would put him back in the black, but unfortunately the costs of such an extravaganza would bleed a great deal of the profits. Furthermore, according to sources close to Jackson, he simply wasn’t healthy enough either physically or emotionally to pull the concerts off and was becoming less capable of the task as the commencement date grew closer.
Most people don’t buy into the “hoax death” theory, but if one stops and weighs the pros and cons, it appears that Michael Jackson is worth a lot more dead than he is alive. As of today, his albums have soared to the top of the charts. With the emergence of online digital music stores, sales for his music have exceeded those of Elvis and John Lennon after their untimely deaths. On I-tunes, 23 of the top 100 songs are Jackson’s, and 7 of the top 20 albums also belong to the King of Pop. It is estimated that this year alone, Michael Jackson’s sales will easily surpass those from the last decade combined.
I developed my web site, www.michaeljacksonsightingsociety.com because I’m convinced I saw Michael Jackson alive hours after he was pronounced ‘dead’. As I’ve explained in my video on the site, I wasn’t sure it was him until I got home and checked out the buzz on the internet confirming that other people in my home town, Ottawa, Canada had also seen the pop star alive that night.
I have had tremendous response, some negative, but mostly positive from you people who believe me, and are sure that he is still alive. The ultimate goal of my website is to raise public awareness. We shouldn’t believe everything that the media tells us. As many of you ‘naysayers’ will hopefully admit, it was the media who originally ruined the career of Michael Jackson. Ridiculous tabloid stories and false allegations dogged Michael for years. Is it therefore far fetched to the think the media might have gotten it wrong again?
We need to get these out there people, post them on your websites, forums, bulletin boards, light poles, whatever it takes to get the message out there! The world needs to know that he is out there and we’ll be looking for him.
Conspiract theorists are having a field day with the idea that MJ is still alive though normally I wouldnt have given it much thought if it werent for the simple fact I had seen him myself.
The internet is already ablaze in rumour and speculation regarding the King of Pop’s apparent death. Photos and video are already in circulation and we expect the levees on this dam to break before long. This is it folks. Lets expose the truth.
As most of you know, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26pm on June 25 2009. At first, I was saddened by the news. Not since the sudden death of John Lennon in 1980, has any celebrity’s death made such a global impact. The media circus his death created rivaled that of Prsident Barack Obama’s innaguration. Jackson’s popularity rose immidiately, and within hours of his supposed death, Jackson become the top selling artist at digital music stores. Late on Thursday night I was at the train station in Ottawa, Canada and I saw Michael Jackson alive! I only got a quick glance but when I returned home there was already buzz in Ottawa that other people had seen him as well. I was able to meet some of the other people who saw Michael alive, and that is why we decided to start the M.J.S.S. What I need from you people is simple. I need stories, pictures, videos anything you can come up with in order to prove to the world that Michael is still alive.
